While in high school, Nikola was encouraged to share some of his writings on the stage by his Creative Writing teacher, Sarah Reed. He discovered an Open Mic night at Axe and Fiddle, in his hometown of Cottage Grove, Oregon. In the first video, he reads his poem entitled "A Letter You Never Received." The second video comprises "Short Stories from the Perspective of Regular, Everyday Objects."
